A new album celebrating the mountain and braes of Strathspey and the Cairngorms

The CD also comes in a truly gorgeous tri-fold 6-panel black and white card digipack, containing:

  • A double-album at 1 hour 16 minutes (20 tracks)

  • A beautiful specially-commissioned drawing of the Cairngorms by multimedia artist Somhairle MacDonald, who has worked with me on all my album covers to date.

  • Stunning landscape photography by David Russell of Highland Wildscapes - as per my previous album The Woods.

  • Comes with a free Bandcamp download sticker with a unique code, allowing audio files download (mp3, wav or other formats) as well as unlimited streaming on both the Bandcamp app and the album page on my Bandcamp webpages).

This is my 4th album, scheduled for release in Autumn 2026. It follows on from The River (2016), The Railway (2018) and The Woods (2020). The Hill is not just about one hill - it refers to all the hills and mountain landscape that feed into the River Spey in my native Strathspey & Badenoch.
